Meet Jennifer and Bret! Our Elope to Chicago team had the pleasure of working with them to plan their November elopement. I met them at City Hall after Kate had worked her hair & makeup magic. As we were waiting and chatting they were telling me about how they met and Bret says “I actually never proposed!” haha. But I think it was safe to say it was a yes from Jennifer as we were moments from their ceremony!

I always love when couples choose their date based on an anniversary or a date that is special within their family. In their case November 21st was the day Jennifer’s grandparents got marred 74 years before! Such an amazing way to honor them!

After their ceremony we did some shots around city hall before heading out into the cold. It was already down in the 30’s around this time and hopefully you can’t tell it, but they were freezing! Especially in Jen her short dress, but we quickly got some downtown shots before heading to the Palmer House to warm up. We made a final stop next door a Miller’s Pub for a celebratory drink as they often stop there after work.
