Meet Jessica & Sal! When they told me they wanted to get married on a vintage yacht on Lake Michigan I may have done a happy dance in my apartment! As much as I love Chicago by land, Chicago by lake is almost better…. or at least the skyline views are!

I met them near the harbor to do a few photos before we headed over to meet the Captain of the Lady Grebe and Rev. Eva. I had been hoping and praying to everything holy that we got clear skies and calm water for the day (and for the sake of our stomachs!).  It turned out to be a lovely evening 🙂

Once we got far enough out to get a nice skyline view we stopped for a bit so they could exchange vows and rings with the skyline as their backdrop. After that it was time to pop some champagne and continue our cruise online the lakefront! Eva and I decided we have the best jobs ever as it felt more like a mini vacation than work! As the sun started setting we headed back with a quick stop along the way to do some night photos with the skyline.
