Since we have no clue when city hall will be open again for marriages or what the process will be when that happens, we’re just going to keep reminiscing about weddings past!

These two met while they were nurses at the same hospital! Kayla and Steven were joined by their daughter Elise and Steven’s brother and sister for the big day. It was their spring break! I met them at their hotel for first look and the kids were so cute helping with the dress and getting excited for them!

After a quick first look we were almost off to City hall when we realized that the marriage licenses was in the car and the valets had parked it already. Shout out to the Thompson for helping us quickly retrieve that! At least we realized it before we got all the way downtown!

The is was time for some I do’s. I swear there was no prompting to Elise on some of these photos. Her reactions were hilarious and all on her own!  It was the end of March and the sun was out, but be the end our out two photos stops they were pretty cold as it was maybe 50 ….. maybe?! But we had fun roaming around the city with stops at the iconic Chicago Theater and the Wrigley Building. And yes a little impromptu dancing/twirling was required at the end. Partially for fun and partially for warmth!
