Chicago Elopement : Alexis and Bob
Check out this amazing elopement I shot last June. Alexis and Bob decided to forgo a big wedding and run off to City Hall to get married before their amazing beach honeymoon. Luckily they allowed me to come along to document the entire thing!
More and more elopements are involving some planning. From hair & makeup to photography, flowers and transportation this wedding is a prime example of simple done in a spectaular way!
There was a 70% chance of rain during the time we were looking to shoot… 70 PERCENT?! Guess what – it didn’t rain a drop. This is why I never trust the weather channel! We got soooo lucky that it stayed just north of us the entire timeThanks mother nature for not making me go to a back up plan!
After the ceremony we headed all around town for photos – LaSalle Bridge, Millienium Park, Museum Campus and a final stop at Union Station.
Congrats to Alexis and Bob!
If you’re having a weekday wedding or elopement be sure to fill out the contact form above and let us know how we can help!
Of course we had to head to my favorite bridge (LaSalle) since it’s just a couple blocks from City Hall.
Next stop was Millenium Park. They decided to rent a car for the day which was the best move ever! It was so nice to not to have to flag down cabs, have her walk in her heels or worry about downtown parking. I highly recommend this to my couples!
Next stop Planetarium for some gorgeous skyline shots!
Last stop Union Station!
