If rain is good luck on your wedding day than Layne and Kendall should have all the luck in the world! It poured rain the night before and the morning of their elopement, but the show must go on! They were cool as can be and rolled with whatever Mother Nature threw their way.

I met them at the Trump Hotel where they were staying for first look and portraits. I love the side walkway at the hotel for a number of reasons, but particulary in this case because it’s covered so we were able to shoot without getting drenched. After some portraits in that area we headed over to the riverwalk to meet their guests for the ceremony. Luckily the rain slowed to a mist while they said their I Do’s (you can see it picked up a bit by ring exchange as some drops are visible in the images).
