Welcome to one of the most gorgeous weddings of the year! It was perfection. The couple, the weather, the backdrop. Can it just always be this way? Can someone tell Mother Nature this is what we’d like for every single wedding day?

We started the day with Blaire getting ready in one suite and Matt on the other so I bounced back and forth. Both of the big suites there have these amazingly large terraces that I just want to spend all day on. It was a quick trip from there up to the rooftop for their intimate ceremony.

I love that they did letters to each other to open years from now and share the bottle of wine they sealed with them. The idea is that they then replace the letters and the wine and do it all over again every 5 years I think? Such a cool idea.

After their I do’s we snuck over to Lincoln Park while guests enjoyed cocktails and views. We timed it so perfectly that the park was quiet and the sun was just starting to go down so we had just gorgeous sun drenched shots 🙂 Needless to say I was one happy photographer.

Back to the hotel we went for dances, toasts and dinner as the city lights started to come up. I might have made them “redo” a little first dance on the rooftop with the city lights as I can’t imagine a better backdrop to dance to. I don’t think they minded 😉
