Meet Vina and Logan! They came up from Alabama to marry with a few close friends present. The entire week leading up to their wedding the weather looked completely hit or miss. The day of it was nothing but storm warning after storm warning, but it looked like we may still be able to sneak the ceremony in before it unleashed so we decided to go for it. Guess what happened? Absolutely nothing!!! It was a little windy and we got sprinkles for about 2 minutes. By then end we were actually hoping for some rain!

We were running around downtown trying to get all the photos in as the storm was still looming. We even had a cop stop in the middle of Michigan Ave and warn us we should get inside because the storm was going to hit in 10 minutes. I still can’t believe for all the hype that nothing happened. This is why I don’t trust the forecast.

After photos we heading to Spiaggia where they were having an intimate tasting meal with their friends. If you aren’t aware Spiaggia is consistently ranked one of the best restaurants in the city and the Chef there (Joe Flamm) recently won Top Chef! So they were in for an amazing meal! I stayed for some toasts and cake cutting before leaving them to enjoy.
