If rain on your wedding day is good luck, than these two have all the luck! They came in from Canada to get married in Chicago.

As always I had been closely watching the weather for the day of their outdoor ceremony. That morning I realized that the only chance of rain was for exactly when their ceremony was to start and it was 80%. So I got on Amazon Prime and ordered the largest golf umbrella I could find!

It turns out that was the best move I made because right after we arrived it poured down rain for a solid 20ish minutes. I was drenched, but the bride and groom stayed dry so that’s all that mattered! Once the rain cleared we were able to do the ceremony and head around town for photos. They had ordered an adorable custom mini cake that we picked up and made a quick stop for a celebratory drink at a local brewery – Half Acre.
