I am absolutely in love with this elopement! When Katie and Joe contacted me about shooting their wedding at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool I was thrilled. I don’t live too far from this location and it’s such a hidden gem in the city. It’s tucked into the north end of the Lincoln Park zoo and except for the occasional unruly duck it’s a very tranquil space.

I met them and Rev. Marian there in the morning for their private ceremony. I love that they close the area for weddings so we had the place all to ourselves for the ceremony and photos.

After our shoot the couple was off to the airport to catch a flight to Paris!!! How romantic is that?!
