Meet Michelle and Patrick! When Michelle contacted me she mentioned that both herself and her groom to be were Vetrans. So when they decided to elope in November, Vetran’s Day seemed like the right choice for them. We met them and a few family and close friends out at Olive Park. It turned out to be a very cold and windy morning so we huddled up to say warm!

We toughed out the wind for the ceremony and then decided it was best to move away from the lake so we headed downtown. A quiet stop by the Vetran’s Memorial along the riverwalk was first up. From there we strolled along the river and up to the LaSalle Bridge for a few images before heading to Chicago Cut for lunch. I left them there to drink and celebrate…. and warm back up!
