Meet Kaytee & Trey! They married on a very cold and rainy day in Chicago. They may win the award for toughest couple of 2017 for braving the weather!

I met them at the W Lakshore where Chris was glamming up the girls. It had been raining on and off all day with no signs of stopping. On top of that the temperature had stopped significantly and we were right by the lake! After a quick forecast check that showed what looked like a break in the rain we decided to go for it and do the ceremony as planned outside at Olive Park.

We walked over (if you’re getting married at Olive Park, the W is a short walk away!) and thankfully it had become just a slight drizzle. Their friend officiated  the ceremony and between the shivers they said I do! I loved the leather jacket the girls rocked. Cute and functional! We took some photos around the park and then headed off to Kinzie Bridge to finish with a couple of night photos there. The rain picked back up as soon as we arrived, but it make for some really cool shots!
