There is a saying that goes “love happens when you least expect it”. When these two boarded a Southwest flight at Love Field (for real) I doubt they expected to be sitting next to their future spouse, but that’s what happened!  (note to self – start looking better when I fly, just in case haha).

When they told me their story it seemed like fate. I mean Love Field?! C’mon! I love that they gave plane shaped bottle openers to their guests. What could be more fitting?

They married on a gorgeous summer morning at the Lily Pool in Lincoln Park surrounded by their family and closest friends before heading over to Summer House for brunch. I had no idea that this awesome party room existed, but I feel in love with it instantly. With lots of natural light coming in it’s a photographers dream come true.

After some appetizers and cocktails I left them to enjoy the rest of their meal together. But not before I talked them into indulging me in a photo I had in my head since the moment we got to that room and just had to make a reality (it’s the last one in the post).
