These prices are set up for the city. If you are interested in using our services in the suburbs please contact us directly. Currently our entire team is city based, so some travel or additional delivery fees may apply.
You must get a marriage license in Cook County for us to marry you. It need to be obtained at least the day before the wedding. The offices are only open M-F and closed on court holidays.
**City Hall Update**
City Hall is doing Zoom weddings on Mondays.
They are FINALLY going back to no appointment needed for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Tuesday - Friday and are in person from 9-11:30 and 2-3:15. You can walk in and get married as long as you have a valid marriage license.
Saturday weddings still require an appointment. You cannot just walk in and get married at city hall on Saturday. To make an appointment call 312-603-5660. The only times available are 9am and 9:30am. They tell 30 couples these same times so expect a wait even though you have an appointment. They only take appointments for Saturday about 2 months in advance.
You may now have 10 people with you for your city hall ceremony! So the couple + 10 is the max.
Photography is required in order to book with Elope to Chicago. Becky is the owner and photographer and will help with so much more than just photography.
She brings 16 years of photography experience and has helped plan over 500 elopements and tiny weddings in Chicago.
With each photography booking you will get help with everything from where to get a marriage license, to locations and permits, best time of year and even day and so much more.
With every option the couple will also get access to the hi-res jpeg files via digitial download. The edited images will go in an online gallery that can be shared with friends and family and is linked to an professional print lab. The couple will also have printing rights to the photos so they may take them to the lab of their choice as well.
CITY HALL
- Getting married at City Hall? This is the option for you!
- This package covers the ceremony location and one other nearby photo location on weekdays. We require a 3 hour minimum to book Saturday with the exception of Dec-March in which I will do 2 hours as it's just too cold to be outside for long.
- If you are doing City Hall they allow up to 10 guests. They are not open on Mondays or Sundays and Saturdays still require an appointment.
- You may add on additional hours if you'd like more photo coverage.
- The couple is responsible for any and all fees and permits associated with the location(s) they choose. They are not included in the package.
- This option is for our couples who want to include immediate family or a few friends on their big day.
- 12 guests are allowed with this option plus the couple.
- The time will include the Ceremony, group and couple photos at that location and at least one other stop. Guests are welcome to join at all locations, but you will be responsible for transportation.

** If you are having no guests the pricing is $100 less than listed below**
- Up to 20 guests and the couple are welcome for this option.
- You may use the 4 hours as you want as long as they are consective. But generally speaking it will cover getting ready, a first look if wanted, ceremony and family photos and some additional photos in the city. Becky will work with you to create a timeline.
-We will help with locations, timelines and permits (if needed). Often for a groups over a dozen we will be looking at locations that do require a permit or fee to reserve or use the space, even for outdoors. We do NOT have a space that can be used as a rain or bad weather back up for larger groups.
-The couple is responsible for any and all fees and permits associated with the location(s) they choose. They are not included in the package.
- Up to 40 people total are allowed for this package. That includes the two of you.
- This package 6 hours of consectutive photo coverage that can be spead over the course of the event as you wish. Becky will work with you to create a timline and pick locations etc.
- For weddings of this size we require that you have a space that is reserved via permit etc. or use an actual venue or restauarant space. We cannot just pop up in the park with 40 people nor can we provide any kind of last minute options for bad weather with a group this size.

This option is perfect for couples who want a beautiful, meaningful ceremony while keeping things simple and stress-free. Designed for couples choosing one of our select ceremony locations including the South Pond/Honeycomb area (Honeycomb requires a permit), North Pond, Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool (requires a Permit), or North Avenue Lakefront area.
The package will include one hour of photography with Becky (all in the same location) as well a Ceremony with Carla.
Couples will choose from a curated collection of pre-written ceremony scripts and can mix and match different portions to create something that feels true to them. Options include simple “I Do” statements, repeat-after-the-officiant vows, vows spoken together, or couples are welcome to write personal vows of their own.
Just like the other photography options you will get a preview within 48 hours and a gallery of edited images that you can download.
This package is available Monday through Thursday only and does not include a unity ceremony or any locations that aren't listed above. It is not available on Holidays.
If a permit is required that fee is not included in this price and the couple is responsible for getting that.
Our amazing officiant Carla will work with you to create a ceremony script just for you. More specifics about each option are available when you inquire with us about your wedding day.
Simple Ceremony
This option is for couples who are looking for something simple, personal, and beautifully written just for them. Your officiant will create a customized ceremony script based on your relationship, personalities, and vision for the day.
Couples still have the option to write their own vows, keep things simple with “I Do” statements, or use repeat-after-the-officiant vows. This option is ideal for couples who want a personalized ceremony experience without additional ceremony elements.
Unity ceremonies are not included with this option.
Tiny Wedding Ceremony
This option is designed for couples planning a more involved ceremony experience with guests or who have specific ideas they would like incorporated into their ceremony. Elopement couples are welcome to choose this option as well, and it is required for intimate weddings.
This ceremony includes a fully personalized ceremony script and gives couples the option to include a unity ceremony such as handfasting, a sand ritual, glass blending, or another custom unity experience that reflects their relationship and personalities.
This option allows for additional customization, guest involvement, cultural traditions, and unique ceremony elements to create a truly memorable experience.
Our talented stylists will provide professional hair & makeup on location for your wedding day as long as your are getting ready in the city. They will collaborate with you on the perfect look! The price above includes hair and makeup for one person.
You may add-on up to 2 additional people day of hair & makeup for $220 each. Or a single service (just hair or just makeup) for $110 each. Any additional people must be at the same getting ready location.
Typically for Saturdays our stylists only have availability for afternoon/early evening due to prior bookings for larger events earlier in the day. But always check with us to see!
The stylist will charge valet parking to your room. That way we aren't over or under charging as rates can vary greatly. If you have a parking space available or you're getting ready at home and it's easy street parking please let us know.
** Prices include a bouquet and matching bout. 2 Boutonnieres of any option are $110. For 2 bouquet we will custom price depening on the option you want.**
We have created 4 different floral options for you to choose from. From traditional to custom you can pick the right look for you. They will be delivered to you on the day as long as you are in the city. You can find all the options HERE.
If you are doing a Saturday elopement the Flowers will be delivered Friday afternoon. The florist is closed on Sundays.

**Engagement sessions must be booked with a wedding day package and are not available on Saturdays or the Sundays of holiday weekends.

We are all wedding professionals that have been in the industry for many many years. Together as a team we've done nearly 200 elopements/intimate weddings under the Elope to Chicago brand since 2014. We aren't some big company that will assign someone to your wedding the week before. We want to get to know you. And for you to get to know us. We have a small team because we are invested in all of our couples and want to be able to work with you one on one for the big day!
