Meet Robert & Tim! They decided to elope to Chicago with just a few close friends as guests. Our original plan was for their ceremony to be outside, but Mother Nature had other plans. As the day approached it became clear that the temperature was still going to be in the teens on the day of their wedding. Rather than says their vows with teeth chattering and freezing guests we decided to move the ceremony inside to their suite at the Raffaello Hotel which proved to be much more comfortable for everyone!

After their intimate and emotional vows we popped some champagne and did a few photos with their guest before heading out to brave the cold! Since they came all the way to Chicago we still wanted some photos around the city. It was cold…. very cold, but they were troopers! As you can see in many of these there was still a decent amount of snow on on the ground.

After stops at Millenium Park and the LaSalle Bridge I sent them off to join their guests for dinner and drinks at City Winery.
